About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda- I have over 15 years of experience working with children ranging in age from infant to teenage years and I am currently looking for a loving family to share my wealth of experience with. Throughout my time working with children, I have developed a strong pedagogy based on supporting children's autonomy, social and emotional development, love of learning, and sense of wonder. Some of my favorite things to do are to sing, tell stories, go on adventures, create new games, utilize my art skills, and laugh! I also love applying what I have learned from my Montessori and early childhood background to daily experiences and teachable moments. I believe children are a beautiful gift and I feel so honored to have worked with so many incredible families through the years.
