About Amanda

I am a 5th grade teacher living in Saco. I majored in Elementary Education in college, and then taught English abroad for 3 years in Madrid, Spain. I am going into my 3rd year of teaching here in Maine. I have experience as an au pair, camp counselor, and babysitter. I love working with kids and would love to have some beach buddies for the summer! I enjoy doing crafts and playing games, and would also like to take the kids to do fun activities (I have my own car). As a certified K-8 teacher, I would also be happy to help the kids with any school work or tutoring. I also speak Spanish and would love to teach Spanish lessons as well. I would be comfortable with going to your house or mine, whatever works for you! I like to be active and get outside during the beautiful weather, and will encourage the kids to do the same!
