I studied Elementary Education at NIU and Early Education at COD. I follow the Montessori/Reggio Emilia educational approach and apply gentle parenting styles with my clients. Amanda was a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and responsible caregiver for my 6 mo baby when she cared for H 2 full days and made a huge difference in that time. She came armed with expertise that made H giggle, but better yet sleep! She helped us get him on a schedule and recommended resources and was just generally a great help. And she is just a lovely, friendly person, as well. We were lucky to take advantage of Amanda's amazing skills and friendly demeanor while her regular family was on spring break.
