About Amanda

I was born and raised in North Carolina and just moved back a few years ago after a some time in the mountains of Colorado. I have been babysitting for about 16 years and have worked with summer camps and after school programs as well as for a professional babysitting company. I have also worked as a part time ski instructor for both children and adults the past 3 years (Sugar Mountain Ski Resort). I am currently a full time student in the Masters of Occupational Therapy program at Lenoir-Rhyne University and received my undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. I love hanging out with kids and coming up with crafts to do, games to play, and always a bonus if we are outside! I have experience with children as young as 8 weeks old to 14 years old and feel comfortable with multiple children. I always take plenty of notes and make sure to follow the guidelines laid out by the parents.
