About Allison

I've been taking care of kids ever since 2018, when my family started fostering my 3 (now 4) little cousins, so I'm not easily overwhelmed by a lot of children or a lot of pets! I've spent months as a part-time nanny to toddlers in and outside of the family, and had several regular clients in my neighborhood with kids aged 0-12. I'm experienced with bedtime and mealtimes, and I have both a license and a van, so I'm willing to pick up kids from school if necessary. I've also had occasional work as a housekeeper, and I'm always on the look out for free time to clean the kitchen and pick up the common area. I love hanging out with kids and playing with them in a hands-on, age-appropriate way, planning activities like coloring, NERF battles, or playing with LEGOS. I try to balance being easygoing and fun-loving as well as being disciplined and adaptable. My goal is to keep kids safe but also entertained and happy, so they'll feel like I'm their babysitter as well as a friend.
