About Alex

Hi there - my name is Alex , and I am interested in part-time or full-time babysitting and/or tutoring. My wife and I recently moved back to New Hampshire after spending 4 years down in Washington DC, and I am planning to attend law school next fall so I would ideally be looking for something that lasted through the school year and potentially into summer, but I have a lot of flexibility. As for child care experience, I spent two summers as a camp counselor, which included one summer of full-time child care at Camp Manitou, a sleep-away camp, where I was the bunk counselor for 10 7-year-old boys and one summer as a counselor at Camp Newington in Newington NH. As for tutoring experience, I worked as a tutor throughout my time in high school (Phillips Exeter) and college (University of Chicago) and am comfortable teaching all major subjects as well as standardized test prep. I had ADHD as a child and would be very happy to bring these insights into my work.
