We were very nervous and didn't know what to expect when looking for a sitter for our high energy 1.5 year old. I am so grateful to have been contacted by Alex because she was as perfect as a fit as we could have had for our family. Her knowledge in ND/autism in children, general childcare, and gentle/respectful care-giving was exactly what we were looking for. She was able to provide gentle, firm boundaries with our little while also fostering a kind, caring relationship to encourage confidence and healthy attachment. She was always encouraging learning in a chill, low-pressure way- which was perfect for our kiddo. She also took my son out on excursions to the local parks and libraries and provided updates/pictures. I just can't emphasize enough how wonderful she was with our little one. Alex was always straightforward with schedule availability and ALWAYS punctual. We really could not have found a better match for our family, which is why her recent out of state move was so heartbreaking. The bar has been set so high that I haven't even started looking for another sitter. There is no replacing Alex in our family. So, if you do hire Alex, please know you have a very capable and knowledgeable person looking after your little. Your baby will be safe and loved.
