We asked she start a bit earlier and she agreed. First day perfect. Days 2-5 she didn't show up due to an emergency but she told us the night before so we understood. Over the course of the next 6 weeks she was out sick, no call/no show, or late at least 7 times (all documented over text). She asked us at least 4 times if she could leave early due to x or y reason. It put us in a bind as my husband and I both WFH (and the initial period I was on maternity leave so I felt I couldn't refuse). It wasn't until I almost missed doctors appointments and both of us work meetings that we let her go. I gave her two stars because when she did show up she was so professional, great with baby, and a nice person. All we asked for was childcare and washing bottles, no housekeeping, no pet-care, not even baby laundry. For 2-4 hours every day during naps we offered a guest room and didn't mind phone time. If you have backup childcare she is great however if not then she is not dependable nor punctual.
