About Alanna

I have an extensive history caring for children. During the summer weekdays, I am a camp counselor at Oak Crest Day Camp in Somerset, NJ. During the school year, I work in the child watch facility at the Ann Arbor YMCA in Ann Arbor, MI, where we care for children ages 4 months to 11 years. Since I was in elementary school, I have worked with special needs children. I am also a trained EMT, so I have extensive first aid experience and am CPR certified for children and infants as well. I am conversational in Spanish, so if a child is learning Spanish or is more comfortable speaking in Spanish I can certainly help. I have been caring for my 8-year-old twin cousins since they were infants, so I have a long history working with multiples as well. I really love working with kids, and look forward to working with yours!
