About Alaina

I'd describe my personality as laid back, down to earth, and open minded. I like working with kids because it's amazing being able to teach the future of our world how to become functional people. Plus kids are hilarious, there is never a dull day in childcare! I'm looking for a job that is laid back and gives me the space to let me do what I know how to do best! I started working with kids when I was 16 years old babysitting. Then I moved to Water Instructing, then private nannying, and now teaching! I have never not worked with children. In my spare time, I like to take my two dogs out on adventures. I love staying active and outdoors as much as possible! I'm an adrenaline junky who loves to go mountain climbing, skydiving and biking. I also love to relax at home crocheting, painting, or cooking/baking. One thing you should know about me is I have saved 4 children's lives using the Heimlich! My skills include time management and being able to handle high pressure situations.
