Hi, I'm Abi! I started babysitting in middle school as a mother's helper for a 6-month-old baby. When I was in high school I worked with a family for 3 years who had a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old, usually babysitting for date nights and after school care for several hours. During two years of college I babysat for a family with two elementary school age children with special needs, working three days per week as an after school nanny until the parents got home from work including picking the kids up from school and driving to and from appointments. I love kids and animals, and just finished grad school for marine biology and worked at the New England Aquarium for three years so I am full of fun facts about the ocean! I was also CPR certified less than 1 year ago, and will be maintaining that certification in addition to regular first aid training and emergency response train order to maintain active scientific scuba diver status.
