i recently relocated to virginia to be closer to family.

i am a totally hands on nanny spending most of my day on the floor with child. I do not advocate tv, less instructed by parents.
i do not use phone, text, or watch tv myself, preferring to spend my time talking, playing, singing and exposing children to new experiences. I do encourage independent play, length of that depends on age of child. I also encourage help in cleaning up when age appropriate, other wise all play areas are cleaned at end of day.

i consider laundry and food prep for child as part of my duties.
music, singing, fresh air, reading books, arts and crafts, ad tummy time are all part of an average day. also trips to library, park, or other points of interest are also a part of your
child’s week.
