hello parents,

i know that this ad may be long, but I would appreciate it if you took the time to read this. if you want quality childcare in a loving home, away from home; I am the childcare provider from you. I may not be as cheap as other childcare providers, for I believe in quality instead of quantity. I only provide care for three children at a time, so that I could have one on one time with every child. this is my job and I promise to always put 100% of my heart and soul into it. so, by the time you have finished reading this ad, I hope you too will realize that I take great pride in what I do and hopefully will hear from you.

my name is janet and I am 49 years old. I am a, stay at home mom of five grown children. my oldest is 23 years and my youngest is 19, which also includes my 23 year old twins. I am also blessed with a grandson and grandaughter. my oldest daughter is with me 24/7, to assist me in providing childcare for your child as well. I have all the qualifications that are required to take care of a child, which includes being educated, active, having confidence, being honest, trustworthy, responsible and reliable. but most importantly I am nurturing, loving and caring. I am, and will always be a kid at heart and a fun loving person, but I would also provide discipline (time-outs) when it is needed or as requested by a parent. I also promise to always follow and respect what each parent requests for their child.

i reside in a house and maintain a very clean and welcoming home that is pet, drug and smoke free. to ensure that my home is a clean environment for your child, every weekend my house is cleaned from top to bottom. everything in my home is cleaned with green cleaning products, including every toy. this way, everything your child touches will be clean, and still be safe and non-toxic. I also have all carpeted areas of my home cleaned every couple of months with kiwi carpet cleaning company (which also is a green company). I would also like to inform everyone that I don’t allow any shoes in my home. the main reason for this is because kids love to play on the floor, as well as babies who are now crawling. my house is also childproof, to ensure safety in my home. another reason for child proofing my home; is because your child will not be limited to any area of my home. also, for every holiday, I decorate my home. it helps the kids to stay aware of each holiday and to keep them entertained. I decorate for, valentines day, easter, 4th of july, halloween, thanksgiving and christmas. I don’t baby-sit a lot of kids at one time, so my daughter and myself could dedicate our time to each child. therefore, providing individual time and attention, unlike a daycare. since ‘there is no place like home’, my goal is to make sure that your child feel comforted, loved and happy, in a home away from home.

depending on the age of your child, a usual day would consist of playtime in the playroom that is set up for your child, with educational toys, stuffed animals, ride-on, balls, blocks, cars, a doll house, bouncers, table and chairs, a small library with books, etc. there is reading time, where I would read to your child individually or as a group. there is some quiet tv time, where your child would watch shows like nick jr, sprout, playhouse disney, pbs or baby einstein videos. I also have nap time for the kids, as well as coloring, drawing, painting, singing, dancing and arts and crafts time. for the older kids, I do have board games, leap fog-learning pad, books and other fun and educational activities. I do try my best to make this a learning experience for your child as well; education wise and teaching moral values too. moral values include respect, honesty as well as manners, sharing, caring for others and how to play together and teamwork. as far as learning goes, I help them with their numbers, shapes, writing, colors and their abc’s. I am also willing to help your kids with their homework. I would get down on the floor to play and interact with your child, on a one on one basis; just to make sure that they get the attention that they need.

there is also a total of one hour; twice a day of ‘your baby can read’ time. most of you as parents has probably heard of or seen the ‘your baby can read’ system on tv. this system is designed to teach reading and vocabulary to you child(s) during the first five years of their lives, where their minds are the most vulnerable. this helps your child(s) to see the spelling of the word, hear the word, and see what the word means, using sight, sound and interaction. this is a color coated step-by-step system that makes it easy for your child(s) to progress. every child starts with volume one and progress to volume 5. each volume introduces new words, while still review words from the previous volumes. each dvd introduces different words, and songs. this system consists of 5 dvd, 5 lift-a-flap books, 5 sets of sliding word cards, 6 of ‘my first word’ min-sliding books, 82 double-sided word cards and 50 word game cards. each dvd is 30 minutes, and each child will always start with volume 1, once they are five years old or younger. if a parent prefers to not have their child involved in system, please let me know. I would like to let parents know that each child is different and that some may advance faster. so, if they are no results right away, it might just take some patience and time to see a difference in your child language skills.

i also take the kids outside for fresh air and exercise on a daily basis, once the weather permits. I have a swing set with slide and trampoline (strictly only for older children) in my back yard as well as little bikes, push around buggy, balls, jump rope and other outdoor activities. and just so you would know; there will never be a second that you child will be unsupervised, once they are in my care. there are also times where we would have fun with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. there is a subdivision park that I would take them to as a little trip as well. I also have accommodations for your little ones, like a pack and play, bouncers, booster seat, bassinet, safety gate and first aid items for babies and kids. I also provide well-balanced meals, drinks and snacks for children 2 years and older if requested. also once a day, I give each child a treat or two to encourage good behavior and learning.

as of now, I am not cpr or first aid certified, but with all of my years of experience, I do know all the procedures and precautions that need to be taken. I love kids very much, and I will go the extra mile to make sure that every child has the love and care that they deserve. each child will be treated as if they were my own, and I know that I will make both you and your child happy with my care.

so what do you think? are you interested or have any questions? well I hope that you do. so, please give me a call to (hidden) and/or text to (hidden).

thank you and hope to hear from you soon!!
