My name is shelly and I can’t wait to be your family childcare provider! I have lived in baltimore with my husband and 2 children (ages 11 and 7) for the last 10 yrs. both of my children are active in school and sports, being active and involved are very important to us.
i am a nurse who also has a background in early childhood development. I have childcare experience including in home childcare as well as working in nurseries, daycare facilities, and summer day camps. I have experience with children ages newborn to 14 yrs. because of my medical training I currently have active certification in first aid for children as well as cpr for infants and children.
i will provide childcare in my home from 6 a.m. -6 p.m. , monday-friday, for ages 8 wks to 12 yrs. breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided daily at no additional cost. I will read with the children and provide daily/weekly crafts and activities for them. I have a fenced in backyard so there will be plenty of supervised outside play time and we love to play games at our house so there will be plenty of that too!
school comes first with us so during the school year homework help will be provided and learning activities/games will be available all year. during the summer we will participate in the local library reading programs as we are able to and possibly go to local parks and/or playgrounds. my family is involved with 4h so project book help may be available if your child is already enrolled with a club.
