i have 5 years experience leading after school programs at the los angeles dream center,
and 3 years experience running after school programs in watts, and south central l.a. I have worked with all types of children, from the underprivileged to the wealthy, and one thing remains the same. all children prosper when given time,effort, and a loving environment.

having worked in child education for 8 years, I am not satisfied with the large group daycare centers in town. I believe in small group hands on mentoring that prioritizes the education and development of the children. as a single parent who works from home, I have had the opportunity to focus on my 2 yr old daughter, and the last two months have been a great time for the both of us. currently, I am looking for two more children, toddler to elementary age to fill out our group.

your children will enjoy planned activities and crafts, a lovely and secure backyard, playroom/art studio, and hands on supervision in a group no larger than 3(three) children to adult leader(me). my house is also only a few blocks away from mary fox park, and I firmly believe in outdoors time and social interaction between children. I am not a fan of setting a child in front of the t.v. all day.

placement will only happen after a personal interview and tour of my house. I think it very important that there be strong, regular communication between the parent(s) and me concerning the child/children. parents can expect to be kept up to date on daily developments as well as being the key part in setting reasonable goals for their child to reach. trust and communication are key.

i am available currently all week. my rates are negotiable but the basics are:
all rates are per week per child, parent responsible for diapers, wipes and any specific needs. food will be provided, with a weekly menu for the parents to approve.

$125 m-f 9hrs per day
$75 m-f 4hrs per day
$35 per each weekend day 8hrs per day
nights and overnight rates negotiable

if you work on weekends as well as during the week, we can arrange pricing that matches the usual m-f rates.
