Hi! I’m a 39-year-old stay-at-home mom with two boys (7 and 5) and I offer babysitting in my home. i’ve been at home with my children ever since my eldest was 1 -year- old. I love caring for children and feel that each day should be spent nurturing and embracing their curiosity and creativity from infancy to school age. with me, your child will enjoy plenty of arts/crafts, reading age-appropriate books, music and instrument time, dancing and playing lots of games. I also make a point to have outdoor time every day. I love to walk, garden or just spend time in our backyard which is completely fenced-in. we live very close to some wonderful parks and playgrounds and usually go a few times a week. we also have a loveable and gentle greyhound who adores children. in my spare time, my hobbies include making hand-crafted jewelry, reading, cooking/baking and spending time with my family. when they’re old enough, I like to get children involved in the kitchen making healthy, kid-friendly snacks. my own boys have always enjoyed baking with me and it has become a little tradition that I cherish with them! my home is very warm and child/baby-safe. I have cpr/first -aid training and experience with food allergies (my boys have nut allergies). so if your child has food allergies, I am quite comfortable with using an epipen if I have to. family is extremely important to me and while your child is in my care, they will be treated like family.
