i have been working happily with kids for over 20 years. I have worked as a nanny for multiple families since 1991, with some breaks doing other employment in administration and music/event management industry. (non-child related) I have taught dance to ages 17 and under as a volunteer at various boys and girls club locations and have also in the past been a volunteer teacher at my church for the children’s sunday school choir.

recently, I left the workforce at the beginning of 2013 when I became pregnant. I have been a stay-at-home mom ever since. my daughter is 15months old and would love some new friends to play with.

i am offering babysitting or family care services in the kunia area. conveniently located in a gated condo community by the kunia walmart.

* full-time or part-time care are both available (sorry no over nights at this time)
* monday -friday 6am-6pm (other hours may be workable, please ask)
* I have 1 opening for under 18months
* I have 1 opening for 18months-6 years

fun activities and supplies provided:
* we do daily lessons on colors, shapes, abc’s, 123’s, animals and more
* we have dance and music time with real musical instruments.
* we do puzzles, flash cards, and other educational games.
* we love art time and have loads of paint, paper, color crayons, markers,
play dough, and other various projects.
* outdoor fun: we have a huge grass area right outside, as well as a huge
lanai area that my daughter loves to play in. there are 2 play grounds in our
complex, one for smaller kids, another for bigger. lots of grass areas and safe
places to play and ride our outdoor play cars. there is also a huge park
next door to our complex and one up the road that is a 5 acre private access park
with playground and basketball courts.
* food: can be provided but will be a healthy and organic diet, same as my
daughter. nothing over the top we just eat real food, lol, no junk food, candy, or
soda. we do 2 meals and multiple snacks. water and 100% real juice.
(if you wish to provide meals for your child, that’s great and will result in a lower
charge for care. please ask to discuss details.)
* furniture/supplies:
things I can provide for you: crib, playpen, toddler bed, high chair,
towels, toys, books, blankets, pillows, first aid supplies, and feeding supplies:
(plates, bowls, spill proof snack cups, sippie cups, bottles, spoons, forks,etc)
* hygiene: I am a clean freak, so toys, floors, sleeping areas, etc are constantly
cleaned and sanitized.
* there is not a lot of tv time for the young ones, but when there is, it’s sesame
street, little/baby einstein’s, sprout, mickey mouse club house, doc mc stuffins,
and occasional movies. we have netflix and nintendo wii in separate room for
the older kids. we also have a big desk set up for homework.

other important info:
* we are a smoke-free and pet free home 🙂
* drop off and pick up are required.
* full time= $550 mon-fri from 6am-6pm (no weekends at this time)
* part time= $450 3 days a week 6am-6pm or 5 days for 6 hour
increment (example: 6am-12pm or 12pm-6pm)
* payments can be made in full prior. -or-
if easier for you, weekly or bi-weekly payments are workable.

* I am certified in first aid as well as adult/child/infant cpr certified until 2017.
* I am not currently licensed, nor do I claim to be. I simply love kids
and I stay within the laws of providing family care and babysitting services to
those in my community. (please see link below)
* my home is 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, lots of parking for when you come.
* I do take off some holidays and personal leave, but you will have advance notice
* field trips by car are not taken at this time
