I just recently (april 2017) left a babysitting job because the mother didn’t pay and got way behind in paying. it was a good thing because that led to the cops finding drugs at her house (after she left them alone, assuming I was still sitting for her). I have interviewed for 4 people since then (one of them wanted me to work for them w/o notice to the job I was already doing, one of them hired me for a weekend then had another job offer, one hired me and fired me in the same day because she changed her mind and went with her sister, and the last one still hasn’t even given a courtesy call to tell me I didn’t get the job). as you can see, this isn’t to say there’s drama but that I have made the effort but can’t find people needing/wanting to hire. I’m 34 so that means my full attention will be on your child(ren) and not a bf or college. i don’t really have an hourly rate but I do have a daily rate. I charge $25/day for one child and $15/day/child after that.
