Hi! My name is Gabriella. I am a college graduate who is seeking a nanny position in the NYC area. I am comfortable caregiving for all ages, as I have experience with children at every developmental stage. Currently, I work as an AmeriCorps Urban Education Fellow at Great Oaks Charter School facilitating college preparation in an underserved community. I have developed authentic relationships with my students and have watched them grow emotionally and intellectually throughout the year. I believe in a comprehensive approach to education which has motivated me to lead an after school Girl's Club and Running Club to enhance students' critical thinking skills and overall wellbeing. I work mainly with 7th grade students in tutorial, but interact and lead 6th and 8th graders throughout the day in other activities. Prior to this opportunity, I have had two years of experience working for a loving family in Park Slope, Read more Brooklyn and have impeccable references. As a nanny, I was responsible for organizing and driving to and from play dates, preparing healthy family meals, assisting with homework, and providing a nurturing and safe environment for the children. Additionally, I am one of nine children in my family. We are a large group, but have blended beautifully.
