My first ever job was a childcare provider at my local privately-owned daycare center, and I worked there for nearly 4 years as a lead teacher. Additionally, I am a proud aunt to 2 nieces +14 years of age and 3 nephews, twins that are 4 years old and one that is 9. I’ve been an aunt since I was 6, so I have been surrounded by children my whole life. I am currently going to Old Dominion University in pursuit of a degree in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology, though I am also in the process of getting certified as a Registered Behavior Technician which I will be working with children with autism. I am BLS certified and have taken child developmental classes, as well as a class on basic ASL. At the end of the day, I just love children.
