As the Internship Specialist at a local Community College, I had the pleasure of observing Theresa at her internship site at the Children's Center. Theresa was poised and professional while working with the children. Theresa is a team player and works well staff. She has the ability to perform duties in any area of need--supervising activities, providing snacks and meals; and assisting with teaching in the classroom. Theresa understands the importance of requesting assistance to promote safety and welfare of the children, and the center. Her greatest traits are her smile and calm nature which allows anyone to communicate with her and invites a relaxed atmosphere. She works effectively with the staff to coordinate activities for the children and provide necessary reports to staff, teachers and parents. With her abilities and dedication, Theresa is an asset to any team of child care workers and promotes a positive image. She is eager to learn and advance in the industry as a lead teacher. Her goal is to obtain a child care teacher's license. I have no doubt you will be exceptionally pleased with her as an employee of your organization.
