"Children are not things to be molded, but people to be unfolded". I am a mother myself, of a 1-year-old baby girl looking for work in the Winchester, VA or Bunker Hill, WV area. I am originally from NYC, but my husband and I relocated about a year ago from a military base in NC to live in a Virginia and just purchased a home in West Virginia. Not only do I have a genuine love for Children, growth and childhood development, children tend to have an equal love for me. I am crafty and believe that we as people express ourselves most not only through words but through our creativity. I love activities (baking, trip planning, games, crafts, reading, sports etc.). I can prepare food, clean, look after pets and run errands. I am experienced in watching children ranging from newborn to 13 yrs old. I am a non-smoker, have my own car, I am comfortable with pets and will be fully dedicated to any task at hand.

I couldn't say enough good things about Shaquana. She was so great with my son and he was always excited when she walked in the door. I felt confident leaving him in her care and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for childcare. She truly treated us like family.
