About Miranda

Hi there! I recently moved back to VA to take care of my elderly parents (after working in corporate jobs for 10+ years) and would love to have a part time job that allows me to help others and make a difference in my community! I'd describe my personality as reliable, patient, and creative. I like working with kids because they remind us of true joy! I love encouraging creativity and activities as it's so important for their overall development! I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling and flexible. I started working with kids when babysitting my cousins as a teenager. I am part of a large family! I'm the youngest of 6 children, and have 5 nieces! In my spare time, I like to work on my creative career and spend time with family, as well as my two dogs! I love to create illustrations, crochet, make pottery, work in the garden and go for hikes/ walks in nature. My skills include putting health and safety first, arts and crafts, and patience/flexibility.
