Hello, and thank you for your time and consideration. I'm a positive and energetic mother of three grown children. We moved to Grottoes in 2019 and we absolutely love this area. My experience includes raising my own children, childcare, daycare, and substitute teaching. I have cared for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children some of which have special needs. I was a substitute for Fauquier and Greene County Public Schools and worked with children and teens on the autism spectrum. I believe that all children/teens have their own unique needs and some learn differently. I am very reliable, patient, and creative. It is very clear that Heather cares deeply for each of the kiddos she has cared for, and our daughter was no exception. Heather is so beloved by our family, but especially by our daughter! My husband and I trust her implicitly. She has had a noticeable hand in helping our daughter develop her language skills, and has encouraged her independence. Heather communicates clearly and often. She is generous and thoughtful. Heather took on a few additional home chores once our daughter was napping more consistently, which was a huge help. We are moving our daughter to daycare in order foster her social development, but would have otherwise happily continued Heather's employment. We will miss her, and look forward to having her babysit!
