About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily, and I am a very dependable, creative, kind, and patient person with 4 years of experience in caring for children, from two-years to 12 years in age. As a caregiver my priority is safety, engagement, and meeting all needs of both the children and families I work with. I am willing to take on additional responsibilities if requested. I have certifications in CPR, first aid, and basic life support from American Red Cross. In my free time, I am an avid artist. My most loved mediums are oil and acrylic paints, and pencil drawing. When not making art, I enjoy spending quality time with my partner and our pets! We have a spunky black cat and a goofy pitbull mix. I've been living in Boone since I moved up from Winston-Salem to begin my freshman year of college in 2015. With BS in biology and a concentration in ecology, environmental, and evolutionary biology I can encourage safe engagement and educate curious minds of all ages
