I have been blessed to have been a nanny for several amazing families, all starting with their children at infancy and lasting between one and five years. I have a special fondness for infants and toddlers. They never fail to bring a smile to my face or amaze me with their curiosity and desire to absorb their surroundings. There are few things I have experienced in life that bring me the same sense of inner peace as rocking a child to sleep or soothing a crying baby or toddler. I will engage and stimulate your child through play and strive to instill a love for books early on. I am a huge proponent of limiting screen time and have seen first hand the benefits this has on children's ability to use their imagination and play independently. Christine nannied for our family from when our older son was born until our boys were old enough for preschool. She is everything we could have hoped for and we were so lucky to have her as part of our family for that critical window. She made us better parents, and made our boys happier kids. Christine will step in and do what needs to be done, and will work with you to adapt to your parenting style. She will truly love your infant and quickly become invaluable. In pre-covid times, Christine routinely took them to story time, children's museums, play spaces, and so forth. She did an outstanding job of identifying appropriate activities at each developmental stage and implementing a routine that met their needs and ours. Christine traveled with our family multiple times and was an absolute godsend for us through the years. We never felt anything less than 100% confident that our boys were happy and loved when she was with them, and we would happily recommend her to new parents.
