Before I met Christina I was in a bad headspace; postpartum depression and anxiety were giving me cyclical thoughts about whether I should stay home or go back to work. We had canceled daycare for my infant, because I knew that I would probably have weekly panic attacks (even though I completely trusted the daycare-my daughter went there and was well taken care of). I told myself that I would give Care.com a try, and if I couldn't find a caregiver that I trusted enough I would just stay home and give up my dream job. When I saw Christina's excellent reviews I was at least willing to reach out, but as soon as I called I was put in complete confidence. Christina instantly made me feel validated and comfortable. Being a mother herself, she was able to relate to me. I was sure that she would treat my kids like she would treat her own. AND SHE ABSOLUTELY HAS! We've been so fortunate to have met her. Our kids love her so much and will greatly miss her. She always went above and beyond. She got my kids crafts and spent time doing lots of activities with them. Christina also took them outside anytime my daughter would let her. She has also been extremely punctual and responsible. She was also very respectful of our wishes for the kids. She was also very responsive! Taking time to text me about the kids throughout the day and send me pictures and videos. Bonus: she also lets me know about any groceries that I may need. She also did the dishes and folded laundry even though those were tasks we didn't required! When we hired Christina, we let her know that this job would only be until the summer, because my daughter is preschool aged and needs the socialization. Otherwise, we wouldn't let her get away! Christina is an absolute blessing and we are so happy to have had her in our lives. We love you, Christina!
